I have Visited This Film City Recently. So I am sharing my experience with you all.
Ramoji Film city is world's largest film city campus. It is Asia's 6th Best Theme Park. It has also been awarded with Guinness book of World Record.
It is spread between 1666 acres of land. Mr. Ramoji Rao is the Founder of this City.
This Film City Opened in 1996. The First Film shot there was Amitabh Bacchan and Govinda Starrer "Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan". And then the silsila continued.
I woke up at 7 a.m and got ready. Rushed to the breakfast table as i wanted to enter film city as early as possible so i can cover maximum film city. During breakfast i booked the cab, as the film city was 40 kms away from the my hotel Which was at Banjara Hills(Main City).
The Cab came and i started the journey towards the film city. After an hour and half i reached at the entrance of Ramoji Film City.
I entered and quickly ran towards the Premium lounge gate as i had the Ramoji Star Experience Ticket costing 2249 Rs./person, which includes Express Entry through Premium Waiting Lounge, Chocolate Souvenir Box, Water Bottles, Coupon booklet(Shopping Coupon, Tea/Coffee Coupon, etc), Veg/Non veg Buffet Lunch at an Ac Restaurant and Ac Bus Guided Tour.
The Ramoji General Day Entry Ticket costs 1150 Rs./person, which includes Entry to the film city campus and Non-Ac Bus Guided Tour.
After Security check and Ticket Checking they gave us our coupons, souvenirs, water bottles,etc. We had to wait for our bus.
After waiting for 10 minutes, the bus arrived and we sat in the bus. Remember, These Buses only takes you to Eureka from where all the Ac guided tour and Non ac guided tour starts.
We got Introduced to our Tour Guide. His name was Nagarjuna. He was with us for whole day i.e till evening 5.30 p.m. He was a very good tour guide and a nice person. He welcomed us and gave us all the important details about the Day tour.
The bus dropped us at Eureka. We got 15 minutes time to roam around at eureka. the fun joy rides or games are at eureka. you can just enjoy those rides or take photos.
This is the Ginnie. His Eye constantly rotates as if he is watching you.
After Eureka, Nagarjuna took us to the Space Yatra. On the way to space yatra, we saw set of Tirupati Balaji Mandir, A Foreign Gas Station, Terminator Poster, etc.
In Space Yatra they show a 4D Space Movie where you are seating in a roller coaster and it shakes and jumps. It's a really thrilling experience.
